Rules and various factoids

Yes, I know, rules are not fun but they are necessary!

1. You must show some sign of life every two weeks at the bare minimum to remain in the game.
2. Do not create and/or bring outside drama into the game, you will be destroyed. D:
3. You must tell a mod if you’re going to leave the game or go on a hiatus.
4. You must be at LEAST 17 years or older to join this game. This game includes adult themes.
....This is your warning; If you don't think you can handle everyday issues which may push the boundaries then do not apply.
5. You must read all of the rules before applying and it will be fairly apparent if you haven't trust us.
6. Hit up the mods if you have a problem, a question or whatever, that is what we’re here for! Trust us we don't think you're bothering us.

Characters

1. You must use some type of celebrity as your PB.
2. You may not play more than four characters. We will possibly make an exception to this rule if you’re an extremely active and dedicated player and we feel that you can handle more.
3. Humans are the only race allowed in this game, so don't even ask about another race. These are normal, everyday people who are pushed into extreme conditions. Although some may step up to the plate and be strong, everyone has their breaking points, we will want to see this. Thus not superhero types either.
4. You must have at least eight icons; it’s just more fun that way!!
5. Your characters must be well developed and believable. Things take time and plots are always more interesting when they do.
6. Just because this game’s concept is loosely based on the TV series The Tribe does not mean that you can have canon characters. There will be NO canon characters or story lines allowed; this is NOT "The Tribe" nor is it "Jeremiah" though we know it has the same idea.
7. How long do my holds last? One week, after that you will be asked if you still want the hold and if there is no response in 24 hours then your hold is lost.

Posting/Threading

1. NO god-moding or you're gone, no questions asked!
2. Your post must be at the very very least a complete paragraph in length. However, the suggested length for the opening post of a thread and all of it's replies are two paragraphs. This is a fairly advanced/serious RPG. Of course we don't want length for the sake of length, don't sacrifice quality for quantity. :D
3. Do not be shy! Make plot happen! It's not going to fall out of the sky and hit you!
4. Do not post AIM logs whatsoever. This is a mildly advanced RPG, and while AIM logs are insanely fun, they are not wanted here.
5. It’s a good idea to use a spell check, and please, use full words, not “ur, r, y” etc.
6. Slash, hentai, and pretty much everything are most definitely allowed however there are rules concerning sexual threads.
7. Sexual threads of any kind must be place under a cut with a rating provided and those above a NC-17 rating should be friends only.
8. No one liner or asterisk roleplaying. This game is a storybook format and most post should be written in third person, often past tense.
9. The NC-17 rated scenes need to be friends locked, no others should be. It shows the activity of the RPG and makes viewing easier. Remember not every thread should get to NC-17 status. We're pretty sure not everyday, every moment of your life is NC-17.
10. There will be no OOC talk in the main communities, save it for AIM or the OOC journal.
11. The game is played out one week at a time. The mods will make a post in the main community and then anyone who wants to thread for that week, for example, will put “Week three-- Sunday (or whatever day you want your thread to take place)” in the subject heading. There will be no specific day change in this game. Every week we will post up the weather for the coming week, any news and happening and a re-cap of the previous week. There is no sort of posting order required once this post has been put up. You can put up a post for on Monday evening even though the post before is for Thursday. So long as it is in order for your character then it works. Please make sure it is clear what day it is in your post otherwise confusion will be rampant for when we do a re-cap. To do this please place the Week and Day into the Title/Subject Bar.
12. No threads posted in the main community will be behind a cut unless they are insanely long (I’m talking like 3-4 pages in a word document), or explicit in one way or another.
13. Do not form cliques... It's fine to build a huge plot with people but please, try to play with as many different people as possible. The more characters that your character meets the more fun it will be and the more possibilities for plot will arise.
